Do you perform cheek piercings?
Not always, cheek piercing is dealt with on a case by case basis.
What does that mean? Can I have them done or not?
To help answer you, here is an updated list of requirements as of 2017 that you must meet if you would like to have your cheeks pierced with us. If you meet this criteria, we can make you a free consultation.
1. You must be 18+, no exceptions. Cheek piercing causes significant and permanent facial scarring and will not be offered to any to anyone under the age of 18.
2. You must have experience healing body piercings, this is an advanced piercing and should not be the first thing on your list.
3. You must have been pierced with us before, we will not pierce your cheeks as a first time customer. Cheek piercing is a long term commitment not just for the piercee but the piercer. When we perform a cheek piercing we're essentially agreeing to be there for you for an extended healing time with a piercing that is likely to require additional care and support. If we know you as a customer, we know what your
lifestyle is, what your job is, what your typical healing habits are and we also know that you are confident in your abilities to heal a piercing like this.
Shit, that sounds like a lot of work.
Great! It's meant to. The last thing we want to do is give anyone the false impression that cheek piercing is easy and doesn't carry any weight with it.
So, if I meet the criteria I can have them done?
If you meet the criteria we can give you a free consultation. At the consultation we'll examine your cheeks, see if it is possible to perform the piercings safely, show you where they will be placed and we'll run through the associated risks with you. If after that you're good to go we will ask that you take the information we have provided away with you to think about it and if you haven't changed your mind we can arrange an appointment for you.
